Where have you been, Ren?

I have been away for over 6 months... a lot longer than 6 months, actually. When I originally wrote this post, it had been 6 months, now we're about to hit the year without posting. Procrastinating much, huh? Sadly, I have no heroic story to tell, no monster's death to brag about or a foreign land to have conquered. The only thing I have conquered is my own fears, for I have been on a life-changing experience since March 2012 and it all indicates it will continue to get interesting.

The question now is... where have I been? Beware, rambling ahead!

Guidance: A Confession

I have recently learned that I'm a very proud person. It's real hard for me to accept when I need help. I might be drowning, feeling the world caves in on me... and yet I resist the idea of asking for help. Has that ever happened to you? I guess it's equally frustrating to be the one in need of help and the one offering help to someone who won't accept it. So, this would be a confession of what it's like for me to ask for guidance.

Reality

The other day, while I was stuck in traffic, something weird popped into my head: what if everything we think is real, doesn't exist?

Saying Goodbye

Nope, not to the blog! =)
Have you ever stopped to count how many people you've said goodbye to? If you do, you'll probably realize that it's been more people than you'd expected.

Working on a Weekend

This is not new for me, I've worked on weekends before. However, I think that in the past I've never been as tired. The reason why I've been M.I.A. lately is because my work load this week has been endless. We are starting the Brand Review and Marketing Plan phase of the year, and it's been even more intense than they'd warned me.

People and Other Weird Things

Haven't you ever noticed how hard to understand people can be sometimes? We share moments with them on a daily basis, we enjoy their company, we curse at them from our cars, we love or hate them, we live with them, near them... they're a part of who we are, and viceversa. But, there comes a moment when you just want to be alone. All of us have our fair share of problems, worries and dreams. Sometimes, all we wish to do is focus on our personal projects and forget about the rest, eventhough it always turns into an imposible feat. Our destiny is to share however much we are personally capable of with them.

Opportunities: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!

I couldn't help writing a blog post as soon as this popped into my head. It's the kind of thing that won't leave you alone until you pay attention to it, so I'll write something quick so I can concentrate on what I was doing again! How many life-changing opportunities have you had in your life? I know I've had my fair share and I'm only 23!

Just a regular Saturday

After spending today in the sun, I realized how relaxing it is just to enjoy doing nothing. We are usually so caught up in the madness of our everyday lives that when we stop and relax, it almost feels wrong. Nope, what's wrong is not to have more of those moments on a daily basis!
