Elle & Blair: Makeup Gurus

As you know by now, most of my spare time i spend on my computer. One of the websites I'm loving is www.elleandblair.com, which belongs to Elle and Blair Fowler. They are two makeup gurus that started posting their beauty videos a long time ago and have come a long way since. I totally recommend their videos, they are super funny and will have you laughing in no time.

They share a lot of themselves in their videos, talking about their family, day-to-day lives and adventure. Some of my favorite parts are their outfits of the day, hauls and videos about nothing in particular.

Make sure to visit their YouTube channels as well:

Blair:

Makeup Tip: Sigma Makeup Brushes

Recently, I bought a set of makeup brushes from Sigma Makeup. I used a coupon that Tiffany D tweeted and I got a 10% discount on my purchase. I've been told the quality of these brushes is the same as MAC Cosmetics. Since I wanted to see for myself, I bought a 219 MAC brush that's used to blend eyeliner into your eyeshadows for a clean smoky eye look to compare it with Sigma's E30. As soon as I get my Sigma brushes I'll experiment the smokey eye look with both and post photo's! There's something about getting new makeup stuff that's always exciting!

For now, here's a small preview of both brushes... can you tell the difference? They look quite similar to me. On the left, you can see the Sigma E30, on the right, the MAC 219.

I'll keep you posted, I'm really excited about this!

See you soon,
Ren =)

Makeup Tip: Lemon Aid by Benefit

It's been over a year since I've been using this product and I absolutely love it. A few moments ago I saw that I'm running out, so I MUST go and buy another one to replace it. So, of course, I decided to write a blog post about it. I use this product as a primer before I apply my eye shadows. Lemon Aid comes in a round box and looks like an eyeshadow eventhough it has a creamy consistency. It works like a charm, you only need to apply a little bit with the tip of your fingers on your lids and then do your makeup as you always do.
